The St. John Vianney Choir
Singers of all ranges of experience who are a minimum of high school age are invited to sing in the St. John Vianney Choir. The Choir assists the assembly in the worship of God at Sunday Mass by guiding and accompanying the congregation in singing the hymns and chants.
Rehearsals are Tuesday nights from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Please contact Dr. Troiano to confirm the time and location.
More experienced singers are invited to cantor. This involves leading the congregation in the psalm, or in other sung parts of the Mass when the choir is not present.
SJV Children’s Choir
If your child has a passion for singing, join us! The children will learn the fundamentals of choral singing and harmony as well as the liturgy of the Mass. The choir is open to all children grades K through 7. Rehearsals start in November at St John Vianney in the music room.
